A Wayne Community College print-shop director was shot and killed on the school’s North Carolina campus by a former student, Kenneth Morgan Stancil III, yesterday. After an extensive manhunt, Stancil was found some 500 miles away in Daytona Beach, Florida, at about 1:30 this morning, sleeping with a knife on a beach. “Our officer did a well-being check on the subject and woke him up,“ police spokeswoman Tamra Marris said in an email. “Initially the subject had a knife on him and was ordered to put the knife down. The subject complied with the officer’s orders and the subject was apprehended without incident.“
